im going to do a upgrade on my 95 wrx and have been told the 4 pot upgrade with a WRX you don't need the rotors because they are the same ones already on the car is this correct?

 

That is wrong, the rotors on the car already are 277mm and the rotors for the 4 pots are 294mm.

bannys right mate,ive recently put 4 pots on my 94 wrx.if you look for 4 pot discs on ebay graham goode racing is selling drilled & groved 294mm discs for 4 pots for 58.99 for the pair.i got a pair and there bang on very cheap aswell.1oo% better than the 2 pots

 

I have a set of 4 pots when I sold the P1 a few years back. Bought them from here to put on the P1 and take off the TSL 6 pots I had on it, but I didn't bother in the end.

So I have some 4 pots from a typeR under my stairs somewhere, make me an offer if you want them, they are normally £250-£300. There are discs and pads IIRC, but you'll probably want new discs and pads anyway. I also got the GGR discs and pads for £60 like the bloke above, they're ok.
