New Tyres for MY01 Wrx
Sorry if you've done this one before guys, but I don't visit the "Rubberware" Dept very often!!
My first set of Bridgestones are nearly dead. (3/4 worn at the front)....what would you replace them with? How much should I pay, and where should I buy them from? ...the size is 214 / 45 / 17", and I live in Kent. from what I have read it looks swings and roundabouts between Goodyears and Toyo's?
Many Thanks,
Cheers,
Rich

Using 18" S03's on one WRX at the moment, and are excellent in the dry and particularly so in the wet.
Got 18" Pirelli PZero rossos on the other, and they are adequate in the dry and poor in the wet. About to change these to Toyo's (via the new stockist, Scoobysport
, Pete).
If the grip from the passenger seat of Pete's car in Wales last week is anything to go by they will not disappoint.

Thanks lads...any idea on prices? I'm not interested in tyres that wear out in 5000 miles by the way, as I'm not a maniac driver, and I don't do track days. What I want is something that grips pretty well, doesn't tramline, and lasts 15,000 miles...maybe I want too much

Rich
