Very nice. I ordered them for my MY06 STI from RCMS. I've already received the rears, just waiting for the fronts to arrive now. The rears are huuuuuuuge so I can only imagine what the fronts are gonna be like on the flesh. It's interesting to note though that your rear discs are a two-piece design as opposed to mine which are a one piece but the discs are an outer-ventilated type for mine. Maybe this is due to the fact that yours are for a classic and mine a for a newage. I do believe that your rears are 310mm whereas mine are 335mm in diameter. Whether this has anything to do with I don't know, or maybe it's something to with housing the parking brake drum?

Either way, I like your setup , can't wait to get the same on mine

Over looks are very nice imo.
One question for you:

Why do you need such stopping power? Do you track the car /'Ring etc?

Will be, when the car is complete. Thought brakes would be one of the most important mods to do first before finishing off the power mods.
But yes we hope to run a few track days and have as much fun with her as possible.

We couldn't fit anything bigger under our wheels because of rubbing but the set up is excellent and we are very pleased.
Glad you like too and I hope you enjoy yours

Can i just say that is one clean ace looking Classic! That is what i like to see where classics are concerned. Looks mint.
I drive an 03 WRX and can say i prefer the look of your Classic.
Brakes are mint, but front conversion would have been plenty! lol.
I should have followed my instincts instead of listening to bull**** advice and getting StopTech front kit. I wanted AP. Sob sob.

Did you have to alter the brake bias?

Was wondering the same thing. I had Stoptech's on my CTR and they were awesome I must say. Then sold them after putting my to standard to a guy who's got a 320BHP S/C'd CTR and only uses it for track days and he loves them. He says he gets stupid looks from Elise drivers as he's out-braking them around the track.

It's because they are Godspeed disks which are 2 piece, and AP Racing Disks are only one piece, The rear disks on my classic are also one piece as they are AP Racing disks

The AP Rear disks are 310mm dia for the classic & 335mm dia for the newage, I think Ian at Godspeed does the rears a diffferent size to us as from his trials he feels a bigger disk works better.

It's just the different way people choose to do it. Both cars have the parking drum brake (but in different sizes i think)

I've wondered this about the alloy bell rear's and parking brake drum, does this mean that the drum brake is alloy, or am I missing something..?

Brakes look very nice, however I have to agree about the wheels I'm afraid..!

yes they are alloy , it only becomes an issue if you start pulling the handbrake on whilst moving , if you use the handbrake for just parking , then it wont cause any problems

Thanks for the comments on the brakes guys ..
..they are going very well and we are very impressed with the whole set up on the car now that we are coming to the final stages of completing everything that we wanted done.

And the wheels ,...well I love them and they also suit the car very well. Everyone has there own tastes and these are mine , it is the first time someone has said they didn't like them though ,most people comment on them say they like them. But thanks anyway.

What do you mean the handbrake? You mean the steering lever? How can you do handbrake turns if the car's not moving? Confused now.

I was just thinking there are other ways to get a car side ways without using the handbrake
