Default Will these Brembo's fit? Pics added..

Hi there

I have just had to re register, as forgot password and cant access email outwith work, hence first post!

Anyway, will these....

fit this...

Its a 97 UK turbo wagon with 17" Prodrive/speedlines wheels - not sure what type though?

I know you must have 17" minimum to clear the brakes but are there any issues with offset etc?

I currently have the standard 2 pots but they are useless.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
Cheers.

For there rear brakes you can follow this link below

The front should just bolt on but I think your wheels will cause you problems with the spoke design (hitting caliper) not the size.

Simple answer is no, only the latest Prodrive alloys for the STi/WRX will accommodate these brembo calipers.

Thanks for the replies guys.

So what are the minimum wheel specs needed to fit these?

So you need a minimum of 17", but what offset would you need?

Im not that keen on the new prodrive wheels, but would consider getting some other wheels to allow fitment, as continuing with these 2pots is a no go, im not prepared to go for the newer 4 pot subaru upgrade either, as I dont find these to be good enough either.

Possible other wheels, OZ, compomotive?

plenty of aftermarket 17" wheels fit (as will the new-age STi obviously), but the calipers are big and numb in design and require a very large spoke design to clear................

the likes of Compomotive will fit without issue.......

Default sure i have seen them somewhere

wouldn't to be on a famous bidding site would they? nearly had a go myself but instead ordered godspeed 335mm discs and pads for my 03 wrx. they wouln't fit under my 17"' s and couldn't afford new wheels as well!!! good luck though, they are supposed to be awesome

Yeah they were on ebay! Those were going for £495 incl discs but that was the fronts only - another auction had a complete set front and rear but calipers only and were going for less. Decided against it this month as have two tyres, bushes and a damper to replace but hopefully will be on the lookout for another set soon.

Im going to go for the brembos and if they foul the wheels i'll just have to change them. It would probably end up being £400 all in to upgrade to the subaru 4pots on the later models but I would rather spend the extra and go for some really good brakes rather than compromising.

Will keep you updated.
