STI 8 Aloys to Classic...
#2
I am interested in this as well...
As far as I have found so far, 215 wide tyres are the max you can run on a classic.
With STi rims which are 7.5 inches wide and the narrowest tyre you should run on them is 225
If this is true then you should not run STi rims on a classic!
WRX rims are 7 inches wide and will fit fine...
- I love those STi gold wheels...
Happy to be corrected

Yes they fit (with the right size tyres). I've had a set of these on my car for two years now with no problems.
The tyres i've been using are 215/40-17. (the standard 225 tyres fowl the rear struts).
Rim width for whatever tyre depends on the profile aswell as the tyre width. 215/40-17 are fine for a 7.5'' rim.
