Just got some 4 pots so am now looking for disc and pads (294mm)

What recommendations has everyone got.

Not going to be using it on track but would like something grooved/drilled

For pads most people recommend Pagid RS4-2.1 or Ferrodo DS2500.

 

Depends on how much performance you really want...
I had a Godspeed setup on my old my99 with standard 4 pots...The set was a separate bell/disc, with thicker(I think 28mm) disc. The caliper needs spliting with an insert to allow use of thicker discs...
I used DS2500 all round...left the rears on standard discs...
Good enough for road/moderate trac use....
Not as good as Alcons..Wilwoods etc...but not as expensive either, and why gild the lilly with expensive brakes if you'll never exploit them to the max?....
