Hi all, had my car a year to the day almost, yet my brakes are so crap from when they were new im worried. I go to slow down and almost have to put foot through the floor to stop! (not in a air in the system feel, just my god press harder way!) Now they are most probably glazed and need a good sand but has anyone else found this happen to there 05WRX? I also have quite a lip on the disc, and i dont really brake hard unless I need to. just ware and tear or common symtoms?

It sounds like your brake fluid may need changing (about a year is normal) and that should be done at your next service anyway but if dangerous it's worth doing before. I put the Godspeed big brake conversion on my WRX and it's been a different beast ever since.
