Smile 04 wrx wheels on classic sport.

I just bought some 04 wrx wheels and put them on my 99T impreza sport, pretty close to the back shocks (can't be more than 5mm!) will this be okay? the tyre size is 215/45/17, is this too big?

Also, any idea what cheap to cheapish springs would be good to drop it slightly?sitting quite high at the moment! Also where to get them?! would turbo or wrx lowering springs fit?

Thanks Marc

Eibach, h&r or tein springs would the ones to go for.

You shouls be ok with those wheels - I ran 02 wrx wheels on my classic for a couple of years with no problems with the same rubber size.

Now got 02 STI wheels one which have a bigger offset, and I had the swap the 225 rubber for 215 to stop them catching the wheel arches. been fine ever since.

On a classic, the accepted size for tyres on a 17" wheel seems to be 215/40.

I've been running those on '04 WRX rims for two years nearly now, with no probs, before that they were on '01 rims, but I swapped them for Anthracite, doesn't show the muck
