Unhappy damaged 18" wheels

I have a set of 18" alloys on my golf, unfortunatly i knocked a chunk outta one of them about 2" long and an inch deep in the rim, cant get them welded as theyre made of pewter, cant get a replacement as theyre a very limited edition, only have them on the car for a month so its a bit of a bummer, any suggestions or know anyone who can repair it?

This is a wind up I hope. Pewter is a soft hand workable alloy of tin, antimony and copper, OK for mugs, jewellery etc. Not for wheels.

My wheels are also pewter but they're flow formed cast out of aluminium alloy painted with pewter coloured paint, bit different.

Was just thinking that .... the original wheels on my RB5 are pewter .... but thats the colour, not the material .... dont think I'd like to trust a set of wheels actually made from pewter!!

to be honest im not 100% sure that they are pewter, just going on what the mechanic told me,i also bent the drive shaft in the process, you reckon that its unlikely that they are pewter so?
