Just got some new pads from Alyn - cheers, they turned up today - but as usual there aren't any anti squeal shims. Thing is, the gold Brembo's that I have recently bought didn't have any on the old pads either.

Can I get shims on their own? Indeed should I bother? I just want to avoid as much squeal as pos. when I fit the brakes.

What do you know?

 

you would normally re-fit the std ones Howard.........................

might be worth asking a few breakers or whatever if they have any lying around??
if you get stuck i do have some adhesive style ones which i could send you, although not quite as good as O.E. metal shims................
