I've just been to my not so local dealer getting some bits. When I asked for a Brake Repair Kit (ie pins,springs,shims and rubbers) I was politely informed "We don't do those sir. You need to buy a new caliper to get all that."

Was the young fella behind the counter having a laugh? Every other car I've had supplied kits! Does anyone know if these can be got anywhere else for a UK MY99 Turbo. I seem to remember getting non subaru pads which had a Nissan something or other printed on the side of the box.

rubbish................we use and supply these when we re-furb customers calipers and they come direct from Subaru.......................
