Question Classics on Newage STI alloys.

Fitted some 02 STI alloys to the MY00 and I'm getting a bit of rubbing on the 225 tyre's mainly due to the increased offset.

The rubbing is very slight on the outside edge of the Bridgestone rubber and is noticably worse on the rear (none on front at all) where the rubber wheelarch strip is - the passenger side strip is missing and the rubbing is not nearly as bad.

If I switch to the 215 rubber, will it remedied? And if I then get the car dropped will the problem return?

Help please

Cheers mate.

the 225 rubber does seem to overhang the the wheel somewhat, unlike the 215 tyre's on my current WRX alloys.
