Default 19" Alloy Question

Currently i have 18" alloys with tyre 215/35/18...

if i were to go for 19" wheels, would tyre size 215/35/19 do or will i need 215/30/18 due to the whole wheel bing 1" larger?

Will the 35 profile cause the speedo to show incorrently?

Sam

215/30/19 will be best, speedo will be out slightly, not by much though.

Don't think 19's do much for the driveability of the car though, more for show.

Did the handling struggle with the 19"s on factory kit or was the suspension uprated too ??

I'm torn with what to do, currently have HKS kit on Prodrive 18"s

Minty.

I've got 19s on my RB5 and while the handling hasn't improved, I haven't noticed any real problems with them. I've got 215/35 R19 PZero Neros and get no rubbing at all, even with folk in the back. The car is fitted with P1 shocks and springs.

The wheels are 7.5 wide.

Hope this helps!

No worries, I think you need to be careful with offsets and stuff, mine are ET45 I think.

Good luck with it, it'll be worth it!
