Thanks for the input guys. I'm suprised that Goodyear hasn't got more votes. Everyone seems to sing the praises of the F1 on here.

Toyos and f1`s are good but over rated.
Bridgestones are expensive but definately a superior tyre.

just my 2ps worth.

Had all three, started of with Bridgestones and they were cr@P in the wet aquaplane in any surface water over 3/4 inch deep, and tram-line well, every line in the road and it wanted to follow it. Then I had the TOYOs was very pleased with them, great on the dry, but a bit iffy in the wet at times. But there was no aquaplaning or tram-lining. Also got an extra 6k Ware out of them. Just had the F1's fitted last week and got to admit they are great in the dry and the wet.

My experience is that there is not that much difference between them when fast road driving.
On the limit at the track... Bridgestone RE050 s are so much better than the T1R`s..
IMHO

i've just voted michelin, just put some 18" s/legerras on with michelin ps2's after hearing good things about them and i am really suprised how good they are, always been a goody f1 fan but these are suprisingly good,i must admit going from 215/45-17 to 225/40-18 is going to improve the handling but the improvements are massive.

They are not that expensive for probably the best all round performance tyre you can get

£80- £95 supplied fitted balanced inc vat ea.

price variance due to wheel size

Managed to get 4 Eagle F1's for £328 and fitted for £20. I'm delighted with the performance. I can see why people like them so much.

Hated Toyos!

Loved the Goodyears, but for my Forester I'm on Falkens which are fantastic for half the price of the Goodyears!
