Question Front Disc Removal

Ok, I have asked this before and done a search and can't find it ... so, here we go again - bear with me!

Front Discs on a UK MY00 Wagon Turbo - I assume 294mm Vented?

Pads, will need replacing with the discs - not hard on my brakes so anything will do really.

Now, I seem to remember that it was simple to change pads and discs?

Do you have to take the caliper off totally and move it out the way (two bolts removed) - or, one bolt removed and swing it out the way?

Rubber mallet the old disc off, put the new one on and swing the caliper back - pop the pads in and bobs your aunty ......... is this correct?

Anything I need to be wary of?

Pete
