Hope this will help. The T1-S has been replaced however you can still purchase them. As for beeing told the T1R is not directional ytre i guess tht the place you went to doesn't do many Toyos as the the TR-1 is directional like the T1-S. If you are after a pair there are a few companys round by me who can get them within a couple of days.

Been looking on the net and ringing round for tyre prices today and they all quote for the t1s'. They are supposed to be fading them out but still seem to be readily available

Just had some T1-Rs fitted, and now they're worn in, I think they're better than the outgoing T1Ss that I had before. Bit more responsive to steering input. No idea about wear rates yet as they've only been on for about 300 miles. There's supposed to be less road noise as well, but since I can't usually hear the road over the sound of the exhaust...

Quote: Hopefuly getting some T1-S's on later today
Did you get 'em? I had some fitted yesterday 215/45-17s, searched the net and phoned local garages, cheaper on the net to buy, certainly from companies up north ( I live in Dorset) but with carriage and fitting down here work out more, found a local company which done them for £346, fairly happy. How much were yours

I got my 4x T1-R's from Camskill for £330 delivered but they still sell the T1-S's:

T1-s's
T1-R's

I must admit, the T1-R's are a great tyre. Steering response is superb, as is wet and dry grip.
