Tap, tap, tap on front right/left lock
Ok - pretty sure that its the ds2500 pads hitting the bells on the discs as the wheel goes round
I've had the pads off - angle grinded the metal off the back - fine for 50 miles and after a hard session (a few minutes) there back the same - I decided to pretty much take all the metal off and it makes no difference
Now - what I cant understand (and can someone explain to me) but the noise never occurs when I'm driving in a straight line, only when I had mid/full left (or) right lock on - obviously as the speed is faster the tap, tap, tap is worse - I'm 95% sure its the pads - and nothing else - but cant understand why the noise occurs on lock. (Its not the same noise as CV boot joints) - its almost like the pad is lifting on a part of the disc slightly as it goes round - seems to be much worse when the discs are very hot
(Its an AP 4 pot set up on 16's and the problem was never there previously - only when I changed the discs - and I seem to also have had problems with the discs - AP supplied me with out of tolerance discs.....which had to be taken off and sent back which seems to have sorted the incredible brake judder I got - but maybe it knackered the pads?)
Anyone had the same problems as me above

did you get this sorted ?
I am having a brake issue on my AP 4pots that I am trying to track down, I am not sure if its pads, sticking pistons, wheel bearing or what not, but I got a tap tap in a straight line and a "graaaaauuuunnnnnsh" scraping sound on turning sharp right at parking lot speeds
