John Felstead had Turini's on his T-plater - I'm not sure of the offset on his though, I've got the 48 offset on my MY03 to clear the AP's.

Tyre size is 215/35/18 for the classic

From my experience ,215 tyres will be way too 'stretched' for the 8'' wide Turini wheel....as I think this pic illustrates

coupled with major tramlining woes and complete lack of rim protection,I soon grew to hate mine

I should stick to a 7 - 7 1/2'' wide wheel for that size tyre

this is Turini's with 225 tyres on my current car

but they ain't gonna fit your classic without rear wheel arch mods,I don't think

Yes they go on ok with 215/35R18. Mine is lowered on H&R springs and they do catch the rear arches every now and then but not enough to annoy me. It would be worse if you had bodies in the back all the time but as my rear seats are normally empty it isn't an issue.

The tyres are stretched over the rim and i agree, there is bugger all rim protection. Annoying as i grew to love that feature of the Toyos on my 7.5" Superleggeras. Still, i prefer the way the tyres perform on the Turinis over the SL's (less sidewall flex?) and don't have any problems with tramlining, or am i just used to it? lol...

Safe to say i'm a big fan of them.

i ran 225/35x18 on my STi5 RA on these wheels. It depends what tyre you use as to how close to the arch/strut this is, Toyos had more clearance than SO2's. I ran 3mm spacers on the rear to clear the Leda's, as they have a wider body than OEM struts so it was a bit close, they were ET48. Being an RA it had no rear arch protector strip, it was very close even without that.
