Wheel spacers ????
I know some people may not approve, but hey it's done now so........
I need to get my alloys sitting correctly within the new 22b wings that i have on my sti. Is there a professional way of spacing the wheels rather then the cheap £20 wheel spacers that i hear stress the car anyway and will not do the job or will i have to get some alloys made to measure with a crazy offset ??? maybe both.
Any advice is appreciated guys, apart from telling me to buy a real 22b (
Thanks Minty.

buy wheels with a lower offset, then ou wont need spacers. standard scooby wheels are between et48-et53 so you fit wheels designed to fit vw golf mk4 or similar (same pcd 5x100) some of thes are as low as et30 so the wheels would be spaced out by about 20mm

I would watch out with VW wheels. The centre bore is bigger, so it would put strain on the wheel studs that shouldn't be there. You can get rings that go in the middle to reduce the centre bore, or you can buy some OZ Superleggeras (just an example as it is easy to do with OZ wheels) designed for a VW and get the centre bore spiggot out some OZ Superleggeras designed for a scooby.
