Default Me again :o)

Whilst I'm bleating on about tyres how would 215/35/18's go on a rim compared to the 225/35/18's that are on there at the min? Apart from it spread a bit tighter across the rim <snigger> would there be much change?

Just wondering cos 215's are 50 quid a set cheaper than 225's

should be ok but it will bugger your rolling radius somewhat, and I don't think you'll be too popular with the fitters

the 215's have a rolling radius of @303.85mm
the 225's have a rolling radius of @307.35mm

which is only a 1.15% difference in radius so at actual 70mph on the road, you would be reading 70.81mph on the speedo on the 225's compared to the 215's.

I would not be concerned by this little change in your speedo reading as its most probably 5mph out at that speed anyway.

Thanks
