Default Tyres needed

I have a MY00 Classic running on Prodrive uprated suspension. I currently have PZeros on the car 205/45/17 and am thinking about having a slightly lower tread depth. Can I fit 215/40/17 205/40/17 to PD7's ?? and I assume there would be no adverse effects ??

215/40/17's are perfectly fine. 205/40/17 may throw the speedo out, but I'd image it would be slight.

Do you mean you want a lower profile rather than the actual tread depth on the tyre itself?

Stefan

Sorry yes should have explained myself - yes I am wanting a lower tread depth - I have spotted some Toyos that are a good price but they are 205/45/17. Ideally I would like them to be 215/40/17

Any recommendations on a well priced well wearing tyre ?? I have found some Falken 451's that aren't badly priced - any experiences of these ?

AFAIK the only Toyo size that is 205/45/17's are the Snowprox
Toyo T1-S come in 215/40/17's and are gradually been phased out and replaced by the T1-R
Toyo
Nice pic on their website of TSL's car
