changing brake pads

Default changing brake pads

i have to change my classic my00 brake pads can anyone tell me if they are straightforward enough to do myself or better taking it to garage/kwikfit or something

Very easy. Jack up car and remove wheel. Remove pin retaining wire. Remove pad pins and take off the anti pad rattle spring (silver cross). Take out old pads and fit new ones, remembering to put copper grease on the back between the anti squeel shims. Then put the pins and spring back in. Easy
