What size socket do I need to get the brake disc on an MY00 off? I've got a wheel stud to replace.

The brake disc isnt bolted onto the hub. The wheel clamps the disc to the hub. Not sure about replacing the stud though.

The disc is probably rusted on.
You'll need a couple of bolts that fit into the holes on the disc face. Screwing these in will lever the disc off.
Sorry, but I don't know what size bolts - at a guess they are 5mm diam, metric thread.

Not sure about the front wheel studs, but I changed a rear 1 about 2 months ago. I presume to change the front ones i think you just take the caliper off then the disc and you should have access to the studs. If you give me some more details I'm sure somebody could help.

I believe some gentle hammering will remove the disc too. I'm replacing pads and discs probably Wednesday morning on my MY00
