Ok heres the situation.
Got Yokohama A520's (205-45-16 VR)on my Evo.
The back tyres have loads of tread left but the front 2 need replacing.The garage that originally supplied them got burnt down and is no longer in business,so i have been to various tyre dealers and nobody can get hold of them in my area!!

Does anybody know where i can get hold of these tyres (i'm in the Blackpool area),or would mail order be my only solution!

Or:would it be ok to put a differnt brand on the front and change the rears later?

Did have So2's on my old scoob but these were a hell of a price compared to the evos yokos (£50 each fitted!!)

I used Jems Tyre Repairs in Farnworth, just outside Bolton for my Yokos (AVS Sports). Im sure they could sell & ship to you if you couldnt make it over.

If you fancy a quick spin up to the Lakes, David Greenbank Tyres in Kendal have good stocks of Yokos. Just been quoted £59.95+vat for 205 50/16's.

I thought yokohama had stopped the 520 and replaced it with the 539??
(this is what I was told when I last tried to buy two new 195x45x15's for my old 106)

People should still have stocks though...
