If you have a standard STi 4 or 5 import what should be done to help braking ?
Having read some threads the brake cylinder support bracket seems a good idea. Also does anyone know if the STi comes with stainless steel brake lines & if not is it worth replacing with stainless steel ones ?
Appreciate any more suggestions as well as comments on above.

Would go for braided hoses. had mine done last week. No more guess work when breaking.

Andy, AFAIK the STi's do not come with braided hoses. Uprate these and also do the fluid to a DOT 5.

Andy, you don't say what's wrong with your brakes. The hoses and bracket might do a little something for the 'feel' but they won't stop you any faster, or fade less.

If you want to seriously improve your braking at sensible money Ian Godney (Godspeed) has some good kit - though not tried it myself. You need up-rated discs with alloy bells, plus hotter pads. Standrad calipers are fine.
