Hi guys,
Just finished fitting new DBA slotted rotors, Bendix Ultimate pads, SRF brake fluid & braided lines. What should i do to bed them all in?

somebody posted the following a few weeks ago.

First 50 miles (80km) slow speeds with very gentle braking, big gaps to the car in front.
Second 50 miles (80km) normal urban road use, but drive to avoid high speed stops.

Next 100 miles (160km) gradually increase the braking pressure until you are doing hard stops
from high speed by the end of this period.

Always warm the brakes up gently and allow them to cool gently, before finishing your journey.
Never sit at a junction with your foot on the brake, always use the handbrake. And if you stop
at a junction, from high speed, allow enough room to creep forward over 20 or 30 seconds so that
the heat loss is even around the disc.

The purpose of bedding the discs in is to coat them in a microscopic, uniform layer of pad resin
and to heat cycle the discs. It is important that the heat cycling temperatures are raised very
gradually.

This will add to the braking performance and will greatly increase the life of the discs and pads.
