I AM TRYING TO GET RID OF A SPARE SET OF WHEELS OFF MY 22B ( 235/40 ZR 18 )WILL THEY FIT ONTO A WRX STI TYPE R ?

Dont think you'll have much joy. I dont know for certain but i would imagine the 22B has a different offset than a wrx (offset is the measurement that determines how for away from the hub the wheel sits) and as the 22B has flared arches this may cause problems, causing them to stick out too fat on the wrx. Also the tyre size is not ideal.
