Just sharing a thought.
Having experienced some spongyness in the 4pot, EBC grooved discs, red stuff pads, 5.1 fluid and steel hoses, at the end of a session at Trax, + after the P1 roll I had a nightmare (dream rather than reality thank God) of approaching a corner and the brakes failing and a resulting "incident" - I've decided to go the whole hog and forget about the next hoped for suspension mod, but upgrade the brakes to AP's.
Its true what they say - don't waste money on doing a half way mod - do the best one straight off (assuming you can afford the extra £1000 !!)
Stan.

StanS,
True words matey, I went down the line of group N's but still wasn't confident so last week opted for the full AP 6 pots and happy as pig in muck I am. BUT.......
The P1 that rolled ALSO had AP 6 pots on, so there's a moral somewhere there !

Big rex - no experience of Mintex to compare redstuff to. Redstuff not much bite when cold and seem to wear quickly. Site looks good - cheers.
MellYell - it was just the "thought" of my set-up brake fail that triggered it all after they were spongy - I would have been surprised if the AP's had failed on the P1 !!

I wasted £500 on group N and mintex stuff then spend £1900 on AP 6 pots and have never regretted it
