Question

Having some uprated pads put on my UK99, and I was wondering whether it was also worth getting some of Scoobymania brackets put on at the same time.

Seem like a cheap and effective mod to do, I justy wonder if they do make a difference or not.

Cheers

Matt

I don't know anything about Scoobymania but I have a brace that mounts onto the strut tower and stops the master cylinder from moving forward under heavy load. Get someone to jump into your car and watch the firewall flex as they push the brake pedal down really hard. Not sure that it provides any improved outright performance but it certainly improves braking feel.

Matt.. I have it - made no difference whatsoever.. then again thats with a 4 pot AP set up.... got the BSB fitted afterwards as I'd bought a long time before

Total waste of time imho.... others may differ in their opinion

Depends on how heavy you are on the brake pedal.
Under normal driving ( ie in town or stuck in traffic ) no change, but on a banzai drive a lot better feel.

£50 weel spent.
