Having seen the post on this subject in the General section, I was curious to see if anybody has any ideas about why some people suffer from this and others not at all.

My '98 Scoob suffered from squeaky brakes on light application on both standard and Mintex 1155 pads. My MCoupe suffers in the same way as does my bike.
I have come to the conclusion that this must have something to do with the way I drive/ride.

I am probably very light on the brakes on my cars but pretty heavy on the bike brakes - would this cause a problem when bedding in?

Any suggestions/ideas welcomed.

Simon

Cool

Simon
Remove the pads if you can and smear a small amount of copperslip grease to the part that the piston touches and too the corners where the pad locates in the mount
This should stop all the squealing light and heavy
Cheers
Darren
