Got my nice MINTEX 1144 pads from scoobynet yesterday and my question is - what the hell are the 4 sticky rectangular thin pads for????!!! have 'mintex' on one side and a 'peel off' other side. Surely they're not just stickers to show everyone you have mintex pads???! Am i being dumb....?

Yes you are !!They stick to the back of the pads to help eliminate squeel , Ian

 

How did you get the smilie face in the writing ?

 

Ian - aahhh i see..never seen them before. Always just used copper grease.
