Pete - StilautoSR500 17" (x 4 !!). Took photos, claimed off council - their get out is that they operate a regular inspection and repair and that when last inspected it was fine. I suggested that the inspection frequency was too low considering the size and depth of the water filled hole I hit, and am still awaiting a reply (first incident was in Feb). They say they can only repair holes if they are told about them and if they didn't know they cannot be held responsible !! Nice one.

I managed to claim a new tyre off camden council when my tyre burst down haverstock hill.

Aside from the that, rochford tyres has a wheel hospital in rochford essex, next too southend on sea.

Keep at them, Woking Council said exactly the same to me, but I kept on and on at them and eventually they coughed up! (still admitting no liability though!)
