Question

I have 2 sets of wheels - 16" std with RE 010 tyres about 3mm tread, and new 17" P1 wheels with new p-zero's.
Which do I use for a track day? Any advice ?

I have exactly the same 'cept the 17's have S02's on.

RE010's if it's dry, P0's if it's wet.....(or RE010's in the wet if you want to spend more time sideways than Stef )

Dave
It'll be my first track day, so trying to take over Stefs mantle as 'the most miles done ever in a Scooby sidways ' maybe a little premature !!

It'll be British Summer Time (June) so I guess I'll had to rag my nice new P0's to bits 'cos it's bound to be wet !!

Never use new tyres on a track unless it's wet, you will simply melt them (unless you drive carefully ).
Dave is spot on with his advice. I've always used part-worns on track, and RE010 are great in the dry.

Stef.
