I have been offered a good price on this kit from a contact at AP. I would like to know if anyone has any opinions on its performance on the road and track? Is there a particular disk / pad combination that anyone recommends? Will there be any problems with fitment, I have standard 16" STi wheels.

Paul, that is top tackle - APR's finest 16in wheel brake kit, using 4-pot calpers.

I think you'll find it comes with AP-Japan ZX pads, which are very good indeed, both on road or track.
