Cool

The 4 pots are a direct swap.

The brake hoses will fit but as you are going to need to bleed the system anyway why not fit braided hoses at the same time?

If you have 16" subaru wheels from a MY98 onwards then they should fit over the 4 pots.

If I remeber correctly, the way I understand it, is that the standard brake hoses are made of rubber. When the brake fluid heats up, the heat transfers to the rubber hoses. The rubber hoses expand and give the brakes the spongy feeling (as its the hoses expanding, rather than closing the brake calipers)

The metal braided hoses, are rubber hoses, with a metal braided sheath over them. When the hose heats up and tries to expand, the metal braid stops this from happening. Thereby giving the brakes a firmer feel, even though the fulid is hot.

From ScoobySport a full set of hoses will cost you about £60+VAT.

As Doc mentioned, you will need 16" wheels to go over the 4 pot calipers. Bear in mind that some of the aftermarket 16" alloys will not fit over these calipers. (Like the old Speedline Superturmiso's)

Hope this helps, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!!

Cheers
Andy

Cool

Dave

I assume you also have the discs which go with the 4 pots? They are bigger than the old 2 pot discs. You may find the old discs a bit reluctant to come off. Give them a belt with a rubber mallet from behind and they should shift.
