Default Rear Brakes Binding on MY01 WRX??

Hoping somebody can shed some light on a strange problem I'm havin with my car at the mo.Here's the story....

Last weekend, removed the rear standard pads and replaced them with Ferodo DS2500's from AS Performance.Bedded them in as per manufacturers instructions and all has been fine for most of the week until Wednesday when I did an 80 mile drive.Coming off the motorway,I heard the rear brakes 'binding'.When I got home (Another 80 miles) I jacked the rear of the car up and spun the wheels. The brakes didn't feel as if they were binding but the strange thing is I only notice this problem when the brakes are warmed up,if that makes sense?? (ie If I leave the house in the morning with the car 'cold' there's no noise from the rear)
Anybody any ideas what could be wrong or what I could do to try and resolve the problem?? (Problem never existed before the rear pads were fitted but I don't expect them to be the cause of the problem :confused)

Thanks in advance

Nickb

are the pads "free" in the calipers???????
sometimes a little over exuberance in the painting leads to too little tolerance between the pad and retaining part of caliper..........simple solution is to file a little paint of until nice easy fit..........
cheers
