I forgot to mention this as well!

Anyone else having rubbing clearence problems wit 18" P1 wheels? Only happens when you have weight in the back (ie 2 fat blokes) but the dealer just said tough.

Am I alone in having fat mates???

Hang on a sec, your dealer said 'tough' to having people in the back of your car!
fat or not the car is designed to accommodate four people. This sounds like your P1 is not fit for the purpose it was designed. A call to Subaru UK should sort it out or perhaps a full refund for selling goods not fit for purpose!

Not having a pop at Prodive - Sounds like a lazy/unhelpful dearlership to me!

Question

My dealer said they had to do a modification to the rear bumper or something when fitting 18 inchers, has yours done this, or did they just do a straight swap?
Cheers

John

If you are using the correct wheels and tyres there should be no catching unless either the rubber strip is not fitted properly or the small mod to the bumper mount has not been done.
Your dealer should be able to sort this out.

They mentioned something about the plastic liner being pulled out a little but that was it.

Thanks all, I'll check again with SGT and get them to have a look.

Mike, did you see the post on the wheel/brake dust issue. Any comment or should I continue as mentioned.

Thanks.
