Cool

What are your experiences with braided hoses?

I have heard of two makes, Goodridge and Aeroquip, are there any others?

What did you pay for your lines and where from?

Doc.

I may have a spare set of Goodridge hoses lying around somewhere, as I got a new set with my AP conversion.
I believe they cost around £55 from most motorsprt accessory places.

Thanks for the offer Stef but when it comes to brake lines I think I'll have some new ones rather than some lines that have been kicking about someone elses garage

Hi Doc

I have it from Sparco fitted on my MY98. With Mintex pads are the best upgrade on my car. There is no longer that "trying to stop fully loaded train" feeling. It cost cca. 70-80GBP I have it from Austria not from UK.

Stef,

If Doc's not interested in them, how much do you want for the hoses?

Fair do's Doc.

Andy.
Let me get them looked at first, but if they're ok (only used for 2 months) just send me a pre-paid sae and they're yours.

Question

Did subaru change the brake line fitting between 2 pot and 4 pot calipers?

In other words if I buy a set of brake lines for a MY98 will they fit 4 pot calipers?

Hi-Spec in Dartford (01322 286850) sell braided hoses for £8 + VAT each if anyone is interested.

Thanks

Gavin

Doc,

The guy who did my 4-pot upgrade had to change the hoses as the connectors are different to those orignally fitted for the 2-pot calipers.

Cheers,

Alex
