Here a question from Holland.
Several members of our Subaru club are facing problems with the disc brakes. There are small cracks apearing, sometimes hardly visible. Our importer suggests the car is treated wrongly, so the problem is not a garantuee question.
We think it that the discs are not quite up to the job, so they should be replaced with better ones, under garantuee of course.
Until now we don't hav much progress in this matter. The dealers are not allowed to replace them with no cost.

What are your experiences with the above?
Are the discs being replaced under garantuee in your country?
Is it necessary to replace the discs when cracks appear?

Please help us out.

 

Corrr, do a search on this. Subaru UK are replacing the MY99 discs as a warranty issue.
