Question

Hi scooby gang,

I will pick up a Silver 4d MY95 tomorrow. My first Scooby. Dealer is organising service so I requested they fit Mintex 1155 pads - per SIDC FAQ advice. He called a few mins ago and said Mintex dealer doesn't list these pads for Scooby Turbo.

Can anyone help with part numbers??

Many thanks.

Suresh

According to my mate that works for partco they are listed as MDB16881155 for cars upto 1997.

Suresh,

I have them on my 94 car (same disks/calipers) - they do exist !!

Ask your dealer to check again.

Thanks

Gavin

They're definitely out there - various companies list them (eg scoobysport, demon tweeks). Also worth shopping around as you can normally get them much cheaper than the dealer

Many thanks!
Will pass on the part no. to dodgy dealer. Would like to shop around, as must look after the pennies, now that I'm a student! Reckon I will only get them fitted for free if I get the pads done before I collect the beast i.e. tomorrow.
In any case, I don't want to wait too long before gently squeezing the "loud" pedal.
