Question

Just taken delivery of an MY97 Scoobie in Silver adorned with Prodrive goodies ......
..... which is nice! Aside from the Quickshift, Interior & Exhaust, the car sit's on 17" twin spoke Prodrive alloys with Pirelli tyres.

Can somebody tell me;
(a) The pressure's to run at.
(b) The best Geometry set-up, as one front
tyre appears to be wearing more than the
other toward's the outer edge.

Many Thanks

Chris

I run my 17" 99 Prodrive with P Zero's as follows

Tyre pressures

rear 28 all conditions
front 29 wet
front 31 dry

I have experimented with various set ups for about 4 months to conclude the above.

Geometry

Front
1.5 negative camber
1 to 2 mm toe in

Rear
Standard

With the above settings I get more even tyre wear on the fronts, but I do have leda suspension which also has an effect. I have tried various toe in settings, and the above seems to be the best in terms of grip, albeit I found the car more stable with 0 equal settings under braking.

Hope that is of assistance

Steve
