Been bedding in a new set of Mintex pads front and rear for the last week (fried the old set at Bedford Autodrome Monday).

Went for a drive last night, got them warmer as they should be sorted now and noticed a really strange popping / frying noise coming from the brakes. Only happened when quiet hot....

Anyone noticed this before?

I think John S said somewhere before that this was simply the 'gas' from the pads.
