STi 8 alloys on a classic??

Default STi 8 alloys on a classic??

Will these fit,

they are the 17" STi 8 alloys with 225/45/17 tyres.....


am i ok on fitting these to a MY00 classic

jamieerst, from previous replies I've seen on this, the wheels will fit but the tyres wont - the tyres are too wide to fit on a classic and will foul the arch and/or the suspension.
To get the STI 8 wheels on a classic you have to fit them with the preffered tyre sizes of 215/40/17 or 205/45/17.

got these on my classic . had to change the tyres to 40s

You need to roll the fenders to run the 225`s safely

I tried these wheels with std 225/45 tyres on my classic and they rubbed on the shocks at the rear.
I fitted a pair of 6mm spacers and it then rubbed on the arch lip on bumps. Only slightly but you couldn't drive it!
Changing to 215/40 tyres should cure the rubbing (as posted above )
