4F, it's not clear what you've fitted. Brembo's what - discs/calipers/pads? But handed stuff only effects the direction of rotation, not the will it/won't it fit scenario. Strongly suggest you've got the wrong fitting kit.

Post details of your car (model year and wheel spec) and someone will put you straight

Richard.

As long as the wheel bolts up tight, and you have a couple of mill clearance you'll be fine, just don't drive like a loon on gravel, stones could get stuck!!

I can't help here, other than to say again that this kit obviously doesn't fit. Yes, it's common to have the spokes running close to the calipers, but you need at least 3mm as the whees will move on the bearings.

There's also a strange mix of bits here. 22b didn't come with Brembos as standard (had standard Subaru 4-pots, I think) and Brembo make a lot of calipers. Also, I think the 22b has a different wheel off-set to normal Scoobs and 18in wheels are also known to be a tricky fit on Classic cars

Maybe someone like Ian Godney (of Godspeed) could make up some custom brackets?

If the caliper doesn't fit central in the calipers , causing them to touch as you say in the back , then fit a thin washer between the caliper bracket and the hub assembly , this will take the caliper in slightly which should stop them hitting the disc and also giving you a bit more clearance in the spokes

Cheers Ian

Cosmic, I guess you're talking Scoobysport Brembos. Good calipers, but no longer available from SS. I'm sure Ian is familiar with them. Since he's been good enough to post here, drop him a line, or get to speak to him if you can (not easy, apparently). If Ian knows what's wrong, he can make you the bits to fit. Then drive over to him and get them properly fitted.

Cheers,

Richard.

PS Spacers are the work of the devil. Horrible things. 8mm!!! Horrible. Sorry.

PPS Have you tried Scoobysport? Their Brembo kit was available for all Scoobs and they might be able to advise or even supply an old fitting kit. The kit was available with various disc options, as I recall - a floating Brembo disc that didn't, then a 2-piece AP disc. Worth a phone call.
