Classic/Spedline Offset
I am in the process of buying the a set of speedlines ST2 and they came off an MY98 Impreza (not sure if it was a turbo or not). He says the offset is 155mm. Does this sound right and will these fit a MY00 Turbo? The wheels are 17 x 7.

That's not right, he maybe referring to the actual width of the wheel.
The offset should be about 48-50mm.
Ask him to have a look on the back and he should see a number with ET48 or whatever the offset is.
Edited to say that standard offset is ET53/55
