Are Kwikfit taking the p**s or what?!
I have been ringing around for tyre quotes in the South East and I cannot believe the difference:
TYRES: 185/60-14 82H Pirelli P6000
BEST: Bracknell Tyre & Battery
£39.50 inc VAT, fitting, etc
£158.00 in total
JOKE: Kwik Fit
£65.50 inc
£262.00 in total!!!!!!!
This is completely taking the p!ss. How can they justify such a massive increase in the price!
If you're in the South East and you're looking for tyres, ring the guys at Bracknell Tyre & Battery before you buy them anywhere else!!
Mark.

Cos they rely on people not shopping around and paying the first price they come up with. I think they will price match so you can get better prices then get them to match the price but I avoid them on principle. Try small independents (as you have done) or small chains. I had the same sourcing some GSD3s for my 98 Turbo and after much ringing around bought 4 from Bathwick tyres in Somerset for £334 all in, the quotes I got went as high as £440...
