Would it be worth getting one of these? I've heard mixed reports and after do a search am non the wiser???

I have an MY96 with braided hoses Hi-Spec 310mm discs and Monster 4 pot calipers with Ferrodo DS-2500s.

I was just wondering if this would improve things further?

Thanks

Ade

Question

ANYONE??

I read about them and the theory sounds ok but is it just theory? Does it really make any difference?

Ade

Is that a tumble weed I see rolling by?

I THINK TSL do them.

Give them a call and ask, otherwise, sorry, can't help.

I have one that came from Townend Garage. Basically they bolt to the drivers side srut area and adjust up tight against the end of the brake manifold. This stops any flex there may be in the bulkhead when you really press the brakes. It does seem to work in my opinion. Not that expensive, about £40 IIRC.

It does stop the bulkhead flex, but it wont make the car stop quicker

I wasn't expecting it to make the car stop quicker I'm just wondering if it gives you any more pedal feel? I'm reliablytold that this was the main point?

Drove a car with one and it was a waste of time, you could FEEL no diffrence at all against the car without one.
Maybe on a rally car when you stamp on the pedal at high speed there may be some benefit from the bulkhead not flexing but on a road car, save your money.

I think it did firm hte pedal up a little, but am now used to it

Probably a little expensive for what it does, but if you have a problem ,it might be worth a try
