Looking for tyres in the above size. The only ones I've found so far are:
Bridgestone Potenza RE050
Pirelli P Zero Assimetrico
Dunlop SP Sport 9000

Anyone used these or have any commens on price/performance/mileage?

Cheers

Tyres in this size are expensive as it is not a common size. You would be best off doing what so many of us have done - opting for 215/40/17's. These are much cheaper and the choice of tyres is much wider

I realise that but thought I'd at least try to see what is available. The fact that Prodrive have used this tyre in preference to the 215 plus the narrower width / greater AR makes me think that there must be some ride/handling benefit.

Any other thoughts?

Yep
I have used both sizes and if there is any difference in handleing then you will only notice if you are a professional driver like Damon Hill I certainly didn't notice any difference, but then again - i'm not Damon Hill

Simon,

for what it's worth I've just been quoted £110 each all in for P Zero Assy's in the size you mention. Kwik Fit.
