Question

Hi All

I Have a set of 4 pots with OEM disc and pads from a MY01 fitted to my MY98.

Its time to replace them and am looking for some advice.

General usage is fast road use, havent been on a track and still uming and arring about it. Dont want to have to warm them up but be able to stop at the end of the street as well as after some hard driving.

A rough price would be useful as I am on a budget due to PE ECU group buy.

Cheers

Neal

I would suggest that you try the Pagid "blue" RS 4-2 pads. They are good from cold and awesome when hot. I use them daily and also did a track day at Croft earlier this year, with no fade whatsoever. Some people have said that they get a little bit of squeal with them but if you bed them in properly, they don't. I paid around £100 for my pads from Townend Garage. As for discs, if you'rte on a budget try www.camskill.co.uk They have a reasonable selection at a decent price!

I went for Black Diamond discs and Mintex 1155 pads - good performance package but not too pricey. ScoobyMania gave me the best deal, think it was about £200 for disks and pads.

Apparently the Pagid 4.2-1 "blacks" are more suited for fast road driving IF your not going on the track.

ASPerformance.com are a official supplier of Pagid if you want more info.
