I just got hold of some front calipers from what I think is an 1998 UK Turbo. Are the caliper hangers coded ( there is a number on the hanger. ) as I am tring to see if they run on 274mm or 294mm
Discs.

sounds like a twp pot 278?mm, the 294mm calipers have the word SUBARU down the side!!!

 

If correct ( and I don't doubt you ) the larger disc being for 4 pots, are all 1998> cars fitted with them standard?

 

Well mine was.
It now runs on 335mm Brembo ones from Godspeed.

UK cars yes, some imports seem to have an odd ball mix of bits, but all my99's and 00's had 4 pots, they still need upgrading though, I too have the Godspeed 335 kit!!
